Membership

All memberships valid 1st January through to 31st December and auto renew each year unless otherwise advised.

Below are links to Rowing Australia's Member Protection Policy and the MRRC and Qld Rowing Code of Conduct.  You will need to read these if you are to acknowledge acceptance of them during the membership sign up process

SHORT COURSES

LEARN TO ROW: $250 

This is an introduction to rowing course. Please register on the Events Calendar page first then continue below, or contact MRRC for upcoming dates.

Learn to Row is available for ages 12-25.

Payment must be made prior to commencement of course. This fee includes Rowing Queensland insurance.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS

You will be sent information on how to sign up to and pay for these classes after you have registered your membership and paid the insurance as a part of this process.

YOUTH ROWER  - $708.00 

The Youth Rower fee includes the Rowing Qld Insurance levy of $23, and the class membership fee of $685.  

Youth Rowers are Grades 7-12 and are able to compete in School Regattas only.  

Youth Rowing Classes run:

• Saturday mornings 7:30am-9:30am

JUNIOR COMPETITIVE SCHOOL  - $1,060.00

The Junior Competitive School fee includes the Rowing Qld Insurance levy of $75 and the class membership of $985. 

Junior Competitive School rowers are grades 7-12 and able to compete in School Regattas, States and Grade Regattas.

Junior Competitive School Classes run:

• Saturday mornings 5:00am-7:00am
• Monday afternoons 3:30pm-5:30pm
• Wednesday mornings 5:00am-7:00am

SENIOR COMPETITIVE  - $1,132.50

The Senior Competitive fee includes the Rowing Qld Insurance levy of $147.50 and the class membership of $985.

Senior Competitive rowers are school leavers between the ages of 18-25 and are able to compete in States and Grade Regattas.

Senior Competitive School Classes run:

• Saturday mornings 5:00am-7:00am
• Monday afternoons 3:30pm-5:30pm
• Wednesday mornings 5:00am-7:00am

Please note: There will be additional costs for regattas, which will be charged separately.

Classes are charged at a prorate per semester.

MEMBERSHIP FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE AND NON TRANSFERRABLE.
